Hello friends! It's been rather busy over here! Did I mention that we are fostering a rescued beagle? His name is Walden, and, well, I'm in love. More on his sweet face later--have you seen Anthro's new DIY Charm function? So fun!
Oh Anthropologie, you elusive creature...
And now for the giveaway winner. Congratulations to Grace! Send me an e-mail with your address so we can get you your prizes!
There is still time to grab some ad space for December--it's going to be a fun month full of crafts, recipes, and party tips!

Black Friday
I don't know about you, but I shop Black Friday sales from home. The blogging community has introduced me to so many amazing artists, designers, thrifters, and creators, I am just so pleased when I can buy their work.
Especially when I can do it at a great discount!
So here are the Black Friday sales I'm looking forward to the most:
I love vol.25 so much. So much. Last year I bought her LOVE print, and this year I've got my eye on her adorable "I Heart Kitchens" series. She's offering 40% off in her Etsy shop. Wow!
For clothing, I just adore Coury from Fancy Treehouse. Her style (her shop!) is impeccable. She's giving 30% off all weekend!
ModCloth is having a 'Tis the Season sale and...wow. Just...wow. ModCloth is offering 50% off really amazing things! (Are you reading this, Matthew?)
Poppytalk Handmade has so many shops with great sales. Here are my favorites:
Creative Thursday is having a fun sale.
Gingiber is so cute I don't know what to do with my life.
Corieberry Pie has such lovely handmade jewelry!!
Finally, if you mention this post anytime from now until Monday, I'm giving you a 2-for-1 deal on Little Luck Tree Adspace. Buy one month, get one month free!!
Happy Shopping!

Happy Monday!
Hello, dear friends. I am back in America, though not quite back home. I've had a beautiful, love-filled weekend with my Yoga Teacher Training family. We graduated Friday night (yay! I'm a registered yoga teacher!) then spent the weekend with our teachers and their teacher, John Friend.
It has left me feeling very grateful. I have also realized that sometime when I was surfing and jungle-trekking, the holidays approached! So with that, I have a few lovely things for you to be happy about:
1. Erika's lovely blog, chambanachik, complete with two weeks of Christmas Giveaways!
Check out her blog for fun DIYs like this scarf made from a t-shirt!!
2. The new Christmas Planner from the eighteen25 sisters! Yes!!
3. Linda's crochet bows from The Little Willow.
She's so cute--and she's so young! Still in college, hoping to one day be a small business owner. I love it.
3. This Peter Pan Collar DIY from Ruche
4. In fact, all of the Homemade Holiday crafts from Ruche!
5. The Merry and Bright holiday cards from Creative Thursday.
Alright, I'm going to try to contain my winter holiday enthusiasm until after Thanksgiving, but I just couldn't resist! It's in the air, don't you think?
If these aren't enough to get you amped, I'm announcing a Giveaway tomorrow. And it's going to be awesome. Trust me.

Dreamy Photo Tutorial
Thanks to Ruche for letting me share this lovely trick!
I probably use this on 90% of my photos to achieve a dreamy look. It's so easy--just one step!
All you need is Photoshop! Let's get started...
In the Adjustments window, open the Levels tool.
Click and drag the center knob to the left--the further left it goes, the lighter and softer the image.
So pretty! Enjoy!

Poses for Paws Retreat
So here are some Instagram shots from my first week in Mexico (28 Before 28, woo woo!).
I'm here for Kathryn Budig's Poses for Paws Yoga Retreat, an amazing opportunity for me to center myself, work on my practice, and help save animals at the same time. If you're not familiar with the program, Poses for Paws donates money to organizations that help animals.
This year, the funds go to the Beagle Freedom Project, which helps rescue beagles after they've been used for animal experimentation (another reminder to choose cruelty free products, my friends).
As Thanksgiving approaches, it's a great time of year to reflect on what you're thankful for, and maybe find some time to give back to the community, whether it's for animals, the environment, or people in need.

Hello loves! It's day one of my tropical yoga retreat with Kathryn Budig (um, hello, have you seen her sensational Toe Sox ad??), and it's divine. I just wanted to give you a little peek at what my morning looked like:

Spinach Artichoke Dip
Confession: sometimes I just like to whip this up for myself and eat it.
All of it.
It's so easy and so not bad for you!!
Ingredients:
10 ounces (one bag) spinach
1 tablespoon olive oil
14.5 ounces (one can) artichoke hearts
2 tablespoons vegan mayonnaise
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1-2 teaspoons hot sauce
1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
Salt & Pepper to taste
Directions:
1. In frying pan, heat oil over med-high heat. Add spinach. Sauté until slightly wilted (3-5 minutes).
2. Put spinach and the rest of the ingredients into food processor or blender. Pulse until desired creaminess. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Yields about 2 cups of dip. I suggest serving it with chips or toasted bread. If you're feeling really fancy (Thanksgiving appetizers anyone?), serve with breadsticks and oil-cured olives. Yum!
And since there is no cheese or mayonnaise, it's super low in fat--but still delicious! Another win for vegan cuisine!
