December Photo Project: Day 25
I woke up this morning to find that my sister had sometime in the night stuffed my stocking--just as I had done for her, somehow crossing paths in the dark townhouse. And now it looks like it's beginning to snow for Matt's first White Christmas!
Plus last night I tracked Santa in through Baltimore and Canada. We've got presents to open, and I have a fun blog post I'm excited to finish!
Merry Christmas! ♥ Shannon

"The Christmas Rush Is Through"
Hardly!!!
December Photo Project: Day 19-23
Oh my goodness, but I do believe I am a bit behind in most of my Christmas checklist. Nobody panic!! Here are a few pictures of things I've been playing with:
My Christmas 2010 journal (peeks to come!)
My cat (my black cat, who thinks the white throw blanket basket is her bed...)And my sister!
Isn't she cute?
I'm still quite behind with gifts (shopping and wrapping--eek!), but at least we're all having fun!

Woodland Walk
December Photo Project: Day 16-18
We went for a walk in the snowy woods today and came upon some fun wintry things!
I have few complaints about the cold when it is snowy!

Pamper Your Guests!
December Photo Project Day: 13-15
My younger sister, Forest, flew in on Monday, so I had fun flurrying to get things ready for her. One little touch I added was stringing some extra ornaments on a piece of twine for a garland in the guestroom:
She flew in from California, so while she sleeps in, I make her a little breakfast treat to help wake her up!
You'll be hearing more from Forest this week!

Narwhal!
December Photo Project: Day 11
I was so excited to receive this little Skunkboy creature in the mail. He is just so cute and silly! He makes me smile when I see him on my tree.

From my father
December Photo Project: Day 10
During my first Christmas away from family and friends, my parents sent a care package with ornaments from my tree growing up, and one of them was my father's vintage pony.
I just love his attitude, his little mohawk, and his fun colors and flair. It's one of my favorite ornaments on the tree!

Vintage Brooch
December Photo Project: Day 9
I walked into the thrift store hoping to find two things: 1. Records (ever since the day I walked away from a vinyl copy of Johnny Mathis's Christmas album I have been haunted), and 2. Vintage Brooches.
This little love gleamed up at me as soon as I walked in.
I was pretty excited. White, snowflake-esque, it was what I was hoping for. I had to scramble for a bit of extra change in the car, and may or may not have paid with a few pennies, but I'm pleased.
Now the question is, what to do with it? Any suggestions?

December Photo Project -- Day 7
A Very Vintage Christmas
You know, you go out of town for a few days, and before you know it, you're already behind on your December Photo Project posting! Here are some images from my trip to a Southern plantation for a Christmas party!
December 3: In honor of the birth of my sister, Forest, some horns!
December 4: The table setting was elevated with presents (and Southern food....oooohhhh so good).
December 5: Santa's little helper.
December 6: What can I say, I was loving the brass garlands!

December Photo Project
I just discovered the December Photo Project from Rebecca's blog, and I decided to participate. One new photo every day until December 25th. To start off with, here is an image of these lovely leaf ornaments, found at Mother Nature's!
I'm excited to have some motivation to do more photography. If you want to join in, check out the December Photo Project badge in the sidebar!
