His & Hers Office Space

In our L.A. apartment, Matt and I turned the living room into a joint office. It was small but we made it work!
We set my computer up across from the couch and used it as our screen when we wanted to watch a movie together.
Matt was able to keep his boy stuff on one side of the room, and I kept my girlie things over on mine. Our aesthetic was similar enough that the furniture and tech pieces tied the decor together. Add some fresh plants, and it was really nice and homie!

Plus we always had someone to talk to about creative inspiration!

  4. This is very impressive. It's quite hard to make one office space for two different people. But I guess with the right strategy and some organizing skills, it will work out well. The white theme color for the furniture and the decorations are a nice touch. It's very classy, plus the fact that it can blend well with both his and your personality. | Clayton @ MetrOffice.com |

    1. I think you're right. Having a few similar elements like big furniture pieces helped tie the room together--then we just had to accessorize.

    2. I ran across this via LifeHacker, and I really like his desk. I hopped on ikea to look for it, but I was unable to find it. Might you have a link I could steal?

Great job on your offices. Looks awesome.

    3. It's a modular system, so you have to pick out each piece by yourself. Here's a link to the leg configuration--Matt has the white Linmon top:
