Fashion Do or Don't

As I look for fall solutions to fashion (read: alternatives to jeans every day), I've been wondering how I can wear dresses and heels into the cool weather. So--socks with heels, yes or no?

    I would typically say no, but I adore this look here! I'm now on the hunt for some lacy socks :)

    Love the lacy ones! Though I'm inclined to think that a lacy tight would still be cuter than the sock in real life. And warmer too.
